Scribus practical | Restore a backup file

Sometimes the computer or Scribus could hang. You can restore a backup file. Activate the "File/Open" option in the menu. Choose the folder where you saved the original documents. In the "Files of type" list box, select "All files" (take a look at red arrow in the figure).

In the windows you can see all files, also the backup files (those ended with 'autosave'). Select the one you want to restore and press Ok button. You can continue working in the document. Save it!

Remember you must activate the automatic backup in Scribus. You can do it in "File/Preferences" selecting "Documents" tab.
